A Necessity If You Are Doing Business On The Internet

This page is very long, but is designed that way to clearly step you through some very powerful features of Mailloop (in a certain order). You will soon see why nothing else on the internet is like Mailloop.

What does Mailloop allow you to do?

Mailloop is the complete Internet email, newsletter server, web form processor, bulk email, customer database, and autoresponder solution. All the software you need is included and integrated into a single application. To top it all off, using the software is simple. It is all run by pull down menus and a click action button bar. I personally use the software and cannot recommend it higher... it is an essential piece of software for doing business on the internet.

It is software to automate your online business. Why do all your daily tasks, when you can get a software robot to do it for you. Spend your time marketing and growing your business, not doing daily chores, email, etc.

Many people think Mailloop is just for bulk email. Mailloop does a lot more than just send personalized and individual bulk email.

For starters, here is an overview:

  • allow you to run multiple newsletters without a Listserve or Majordomo (mailing list/newsletter software that runs on your ISP's server costing $100 - $400 every month depending on the size of your subscriber base) - AUTOMATICALLY!
  • extracts all data from web forms (like order forms or applications that come to you via email). Puts that information into a custom database that allows you to personalize (fully mail merge) any data from that file into email you may send customers or applicants in the future - AUTOMATICALLY!
  • built-in scheduler that will start-up Maillloop and perform all these features whenever you want (once every 5 minutes, once every day, or whenever) - AUTOMATICALLY!
  • strip e-mail addresses from almost any type of file (including webpages, customer databases and any text file) - AUTOMATICALLY!
  • fully mail merge an unlimited amount of personalized data into your email messages. For example you can email your customer base and personalize it like, "Thank you John for your purchase of the Golfing Techniques Video on April, 19. I am sending this email because we have a new video at a special price.... etc" - AUTOMATICALLY!
  • filter email by keyword (ie. remove your competition from your mailing lists), geographic location (ie. filter by continent, country, or geographical region), remove redundant email addresses (ie. if you have staff@abc.com, info@abc.com, sales@abc.com, it will remove the redundant addresses at that domain) - AUTOMATICALLY!
  • filters your email and protect you from bombs and flames before you ever see them - AUTOMATICALLY!
  • use its unlimited built-in autoresponder features (so you don't have to pay for autoresponders at your ISP)
  • processes all the "remove" requests from people who request to be removed from your email lists or newsletters... and also process and remove all "bad email addresses" from newsletters or emails you send out (saving you incredible amounts of time and hassle) - AUTOMATICALLY!
  • will also allow you to post to multiple newsgroups without getting cancelled by the "cancel-bots" (the only program that will do this in the world!) - AUTOMATICALLY!

    And much, much more!

You can combine, subtract, split-up, merge, eliminate duplicates, count the number of addresses in lists, and sort email lists. This may not seem very important, but it is. For example: removing customers from your "leads" email lists so you can follow up... or removing your competitors from your email list so they can't spy on you (discussed in my home-study course in detail).

Here are some other great features:

  • Has an "Act like a mail server" feature that makes sure you get almost no undeliverables.
  • With a 33.6K modem, you can broadcast up to 4000 personalized emails per hour or retrieve up to 23,000 emails per hour.
  • No complicated database programs to learn for working with the email lists. All email lists are saved in ASCII text format that can be easily edited as all lists are saved in the format of one email address per line.
  • You can start and stop broadcasting to email lists or newsgroups at your leisure. This feature is invaluable if you want to split up your emailing into separate sessions, or if you have an unreliable Internet connection. You can stop at any point and start exactly where you left off later.
  • Intelligent crash recovery. When something unexpected happens, like broken server connection, Mailloop will process the accumulated data, allowing you to resume the interrupted session at a later time.
  • It runs entirely on your computer so it is easy to use. No software or special configuration is required on your ISP's server.
  • It will run in the background while you use your computer to do other things/run other programs.
  • You get extensive online help.

Please note that you must have Windows 95/98 or NT3.51+ to run Mailloop.

Email Management

Bulk email can be considered to mean many things. It can be just emailing out a personalized letter to your customer database selling them something else you offer, it can be following up on leads you had from advertisements you ran, or it can be unsolicited bulk email. Mailloop is perfect for the first two, but I don't recommend it for the third.

If you are considering to buy Mailloop to harvest addresses millions of email addresses from the internet and bulk email them all, DO NOT buy Mailloop, it is not designed for that (besides, that is NOT a profitable marketing technique online). There is many ways to use bulk email to be profitable, but unsolicitely emailing people you have harvested from newsgroups, AOL, and forums will just get you into trouble!). Mailloop is business automation software that will do many of your daily online business tasks automatically... including bulk emailing to your customer database, lead lists from your advertisements, targeted potential customers, etc. Just don't get this confused with the bulk email software that collects hundreds of thousands of email addresses from the internet and allows you to email them unsolicited messages. We don't condone or recommend this. Just as an example, we have calls from people everyday that have done this in the past and almost all of them did not make a single dime (and they got themselves into a lot of trouble with their internet access provider, amongst other things).

Mailloop is one of the most powerful bulk emailers on the Internet. It auto-processes all remove requests from your email lists. It also allows you to send personalized email where you can greet the recipient by name. The recipient will also see their email address in the "To:" field, instead of the email address of the original blind carbon copy recipient customizing each message to address the person like "Dear Frank" (or whatever their name is). This will get a much higher response ratio for obvious reasons. An added bonus is that you can exclude any email addresses containing any partial string, such as ".gov" , ".edu", "listerserv", your competition's domains, etc.

You don't have to buy email lists (which you know I don't recommend, in my home-study course, unless they are "opt-in" lists). Mailloop will extract email addresses from whois queries, text files, customer databases, old saved emails in your email box, HTML webpages, and much more to build your own fresh email lists per your criteria. It will even automatically remove duplicates and sort the email list for you. For those who have my course, you know the power of this if it is done the right way.

Mailloop has a very powerful email box filter that will find and destroy all email bombs and remove any flames, automatically. While Mailloop is filtering your mail, it can also automatically perform numerous operations, including "return to sender", unlimited autoresponding, unlimited forwarding to another email address, adding message headers to outgoing or forwarded mail, and adding any message component to an external email list or master log file (ie. automatically removing people from your email lists who have requested that).

Another reason I recommend using Mailloop for bulk, emailing your "leads" a follow up, or contacting your customer base is because most people who have a website, participate in forums, email lists, or newsgroups, get a lot of junk mail and filter their email so they do not receive unsolicited email.

Because most people spam using a regular email program (paste their email list to the BCC field), many consumers set up such a filter in their email program so as soon as an email comes in without their address in the "TO:" field, it is automatically deleted before they even see it (in other words, your email never gets opened by them)! Just one more reason why a program like Mailloop is so important for your success. It would be a shame for existing customers or potential customers to not even receive your email because they thought your message was spam.

Here is a screen capture of Mailloop sending out a message to an email list.

Screen Capture 1

Isn't that easy?

When you check your mail the next day, Mailloop will remove all the people who have requested to be removed from your list automatically. If you offered them more information by replying to the email message you originally sent, Mailloop can be easily set up to recognize these requests and send the appropriate information out, automatically. Again, keeping things hands free and saving you hours of your time.

It goes even beyond this. Check out some of the other filtering capabilities it has (and this is only a few of them):

  • When you send a message that comes back to you as "undeliverable" (of which you will always get quite a few if you are bulk emailing or sending out newseletters, etc.), Mailloop will determine if i is a "fatal" error (ie. a bad username or invalid domain address) and then delete that entry from your database automatically, or if it is "non-fatal" (ie. just a delay in an email), then it will ignore it. This saves you enormous amounts of time in grooming your lists!
  • Will filter any email by geographic location (continent, country, or geographical location) to target your emails to a certain area
  • Will filter by any keyword (ie. remove ".gov", or anything with "spam", "abuse", "majordomo", "listserver", etc.)... all automatically.
  • Has a built-in list clean up utility. You can clean up an email list by removing invalid (such as fred@domain.xxx) and/or bogus entries (such as Joe_No_Spam@domain.com) before using it for a mailing.
  • Sort by domain to see if you have multiple emails going to one domain. If you inspect your lists, you may see that they contain a high number of addresses with user names such as webmaster, postmaster, sales, info, support, etc. all to the same domain. It's common for all of the addresses for a given domain to be routed to the same person. To prevent this type of domain bombing, you can eliminate any/all of the common names and keep only those that are not in the common name list (ie. if you have email going to sales@abc.com, info@abc.com, support@abc.com, admin@abc.com, it will only send a limited amount of email to that domain... you can set it at 1, 2 or whatever you like).

If you have studied my course, you know how powerful a newsletter can be. If you offered a newsletter (for example), Mailloop will automatically subscribe and unsubscribe those who make such a request. If there were any flames or bombs, it will recognize them and remove the email addresses from your list (it will also destroy any email bombs). Are you starting to see how powerful this software is?

Autoresponders

As mentioned previously,Mailloop has built-in unlimited autoresponders so you don't have to pay for them from your ISP... they are all free with Mailloop! It will automatically send the appropriate document(s) to those who have requested them (hands free).

Mailloop will then save the email addresses of all the people requesting particular documents in a separate file so you can easily send them a follow-up email at a later date.

You can then subtract your order log email list from the email list you have generated from your autoresponders so you can email a follow-up letter to only the people who did not buy... all with the touch of a button.

One of the most important ways to keep sales coming in is to stay in touch with people. An autoresponder and follow-up letters let you do this with ease.

Newsletters

If you have studied my course, you know the importance of newsletters and opt-in lists, and how much money they can make you.

Mailloop allows you to create and manage many online newsletters. It will automatically subscribe and unsubscribe people to the appropriate newsletter (so it is hands free). It does not require a Listserve or majordomo (which can cost your $75- $400 a month depending on the size of your newsletter... Mailloop will do it for free). It will allow you or someone else to run the newsletter remotely from any location in the world. In other words, you can allow your friend Albert (or whomever) to run the newsletter located on your computer.

This will save you a fortune in newsletter server costs if you have one now.

The obvious way to run a newsletter is through special software on your server that is designed for newsletters and discussion lists (i.e. Listserve or Majordomo). If your ISP has this software, they will charge you a fee every month and the larger your readership gets, the more you are billed. If you have a newsletter subscriber base of 2,000 or more people (which is very easy to get), you can expect a $100 set-up fee and $50 or more a month just to maintain the list. As your newsletter subscriber base gets larger, you will pay more per month (as high as $500 a month if your list gets large).

The second way to run a newsletter is through Mailloop. Once you buy the program, it costs you nothing to run your newsletter, no matter how big you get. With Mailloop you can run the newsletter yourself or have someone else run it from a remote location. Someone else, maybe an employee or colleague, can run everything in the newsletter with a login name and password from any computer in the world.

Mailloop will automatically subscribe, unsubscribe, and send out your monthly newsletter to the subscriber base. In my opinion, this is by far the best way to go (especially when you consider all the other things that Mailloop does with email and newsgroups)!

It also allows you to groom your newsletter list and do other related functions off-line, instead of having to be connected to the internet (as Mailloop is hosted on your PC, not the ISP's server).

With Mailloop you can have as many newsletters as you want. For example, you could:

  1. Have a free newsletter (promoted on your website, SIG file, and in your advertisements) that updates subscribers on interesting changes to your site... or has interesting article or free information in every monthly issue.
  2. Have a special newsletter that is only sent to people who have already purchased your product or service giving them special deals or insider information on your industry.
  3. Have a newsletter your subscriber base pays for before they can subscribe. For example, charging $95 a year for a monthly newsletter in stock market tips (or whatever).
  4. Host other business' newsletters for a small fee (in other words, making money from Mailloop's newsletter capabilities). It would be less expensive for them to pay you instead of paying the set up fee and high monthly fees of a Listserve or Majordomo. You can host as many newsletters as you want and give the author enough access to run the newsletter by remote.

The newsletter server allows you to have topic-specific newsletters which others can 'subscribe' and 'unsubscribe' to. In your advertising, you can say something like "send an email message with 'subscribe widgets' in the subject and you will automatically be informed when news is breaking in the widgets market...".

And remember, you can set up as many newsletters as you want. You might want to do some for your own business, host other businesses for a fee, or both.

The goal of the Mailloop newsletter server (although I call it a "server", it still runs on your PC, not the ISP server) is ease of use for the system administrator. To accomplish this, it was designed so newsletter authors could maintain their own mailing lists from remote, shifting the day-to-day burden of maintaining the newsletters from the system administrator (who may be someone with only keyboard entry skills) back to the author. Virtually anyone can run the newsletter server, either locally or from remote. They can create newsletters, update newsletters, manually edit/change the newsletter mailing list, and initiate a newsletter mailing.

Here is a screen capture when I was creating a newsletter. It takes all of about 30-45 seconds to create one!

Screen Capture 2

Webform Processing/Automatic Customer Databases

Mailloop has a very powerful "web form processor" that can automatically process website form submissions (like orders, applications, leads, etc.) and convert them to an "email merge data file" that can be used for personalized mailing or for importing into your normal database program. This is incredibly powerful if used correctly!

Let me give you an example; someone orders a product at your site and you get a form via email with the order. That email body may look like the following:

Firstname: John
Lastname: Smith
Address: 123 Elm St.
City: Chicago
State: IL
Zip: 12345
Email: john@aol.com
Phone: (203) 555-1212
Product: Handle Guard
Price: $29.95
Date: June 22, 1998

Now, for those who have never seen comma delimited files, or don't understand how a database saves information, don't get frustrated if you don't understand the information/formatting below... it is just there so you can see how it is stored; you don't have to understand why at this point.

So... as soon as you receive that email, Mailloop will automatically take that information in your email and save it into a file that would look like this (we had to reduce the font size here so you could see the entire line):

"[email]","[firstname]","[lastname]","[address]","[city]","[state]","[zip]",
"[phone]","[product}","[price]","[date]"
"john@aol.com","John","Smith","123 Elm St","Chicago","IL","12345",
"(203) 555-1212","Handle Guard","$29.95","June 22, 1998"

Note the first line of information that is at the top of the example above (i.e. "[email]","[firstname]", ...). This is a "designation line" that just lets Mailloop know what order the information is in so you can use it later on. For each order you would get, Mailloop would insert another line of information into that file for that next order. For example, if you got another order that looked like this:

Firstname: Jane
Lastname: Doe
Address: 123 Apple St.
City: New York
State: NY
Zip: 91234
Email: jane@ix.netcom.com
Phone: (619) 555-1212
Product: Golf Swing Pro Videotape Package
Price: $19.70
Date: June 23, 1998

The mail merge data file that Mailloop will automatically make and save for you would look like the following (again, we had to reduce the font size so you could read the entire line):

"[email]","[firstname]","[lastname]","[address]","[city]","[state]","[zip]",
"[phone]","[product]","[price]","[date]"
"john@aol.com","John","Smith","123 Elm St","Chicago","IL","12345",
"(203) 555-1212","Handle Guard","$29.95","June 22, 1998"
"jane@ix.netcom.com","Jane","Doe","123 Apple St.","New York","NY","91234",
"(619) 555-1212","Golf Swing Pro Videotape Package","$19.70","June 23, 1998"

And the database would just get bigger and bigger as you added people to it.

Not only does this give you the power to import that customer information into a database (like Microsoft Access, FileMaker Pro, or whatever you use... if you use any) but it allows you to create completely customized personal emails for follow-up sales as Mailloop has full "mail merge" capabilities.

Personalized Email With Unlimited Full Mail Merging

Since you have just read the section above, you know how Mailloop stores data into a database format. So, if you wrote an email that looked like this in Mailloop:

Hello [firstname],

I am emailing you to thank you for your purchase of [product] on [date]. I noticed you lived in [city] and wanted to offer all our customers on the East Coast a special price on our new software product that is just being released this week. It is called The Golf Pro SwingMaster, and is a great tool for improving your golf game. It is state of the art software that allows you to analysis your golf swing right from the comfort of your own home. Now Mailloop will merge in all the appropriate information for each client and individually send each customer a personalized email... all with the push of one button... and all automatically.

For example, Jane would see this email:

Hello Jane,

I am emailing you to thank you for your purchase of Golf Swing Pro Videotape Package, on June 23, 1998. I noticed you lived in New York and wanted to offer all our customers on the East Coast a special price on our new software product that is just being released this week. It is called The Golf Pro SwingMaster and is a great tool for improving your golf game. Now that is just the start of it... this feature is not just used for orders and customer follow-up. It could be used to send completely personalized bulk email, newsletters, lead follow-ups, applications you get... and so on. See the power of this? And it is all done automatically!

In my home-study course, I will talk very extensively about how to follow-up with a "backend" product and how that can skyrocket your sales (and profits).

So I am sure you are starting to see why Mailloop is a critical tool for online marketing (and how it can increase your sales and save you incredible amounts of time).

Newsgroups

Mailloop allows you to:

  • post to multiple newsgroups without getting your posting cancelled by the cancel-bots

There are cancel-bots that monitor newsgroups continuously. If you post more than 6-10 of a similar message in any combination of newsgroups (the messages don't even have to be exact; the cancel-bots look for an IP address, message ID, email address, subject line, and body content consistency), a robot will automatically delete your message from all of the newsgroups no matter what is in the posting (no human ever sees the cancellation).

If you violate the criteria it is looking for, it does not matter what you said in your post (you could even be giving away $100 bills), the robot will automatically cancel it within minutes.

If you are posting articles, offers of articles, site updates, etc., you will not be able to post them to more than about 8 newsgroups. However, you can beat all of the newsgroup cancel-bots using Mailloop. It has a special newsgroup posting system that will defeat the cancel-bots and allow you to post to as many newsgroups as you wish.

For your sake, use it with a conscience. Post to as many newsgroups that you feel are relevant (that could be over a hundred if your are in a certain industry, like computers, but only a few if your industry is gardening). But if you get too crazy and go after newsgroups that would have no interest in what you have to say, you are guaranteed to get flamed and bombed beyond all belief (because you have just "newsgroup spammed". In other words, use this feature in Mailloop with care by posting to newsgroups on topic. It is very powerful and I highly recommend it... but don't get suckered into thinking that bigger is always better because it will blow up in your face.

It has a newsgroup search feature that will locate newsgroups that you want to promote in. You could set the criteria for all newsgroups that:

  • include the word "widget"
  • but not the word "moderated"
  • AND the newsgroup allows postings
  • AND the newsgroup was created after October 1, 1996

Also, a fantastic feature of Mailloop is that it will automatically find the public newsgroup servers so you have access to all 35,000+ newsgroups (instead of the few thousand that your ISP only hosts). This is another small, but very important feature. If you can only access the few newsgroups that your ISP hosts, instead of the 35,000+ that are available, it will affect your profits in a large way.

Eliminate Flames, Bombs & More

Mailloop will delete nasty flames before you even see them (and remove them from your main emailing list so that person will never get an email from you again). I know that this doesn't seem like much, but if you get a few flames, you can feel really bad... trust me... they can sting.

Here is what Mailloop looks like when you are getting your email (it will filter out the flames and bombs for you). There are many options you cannot see here... but this gives you an idea of what I am talking about:

Screen Capture 3

When it is in the mode, it will remove any email flames or bombs, respond to all autoresponder requests or forwarding, subscribe/unsubscribe people to your newsletter(s), remove people from your email list if they have been requested, file copies of orders, or whatever else you have programmed it to do (like respond to common requests, etc.).

Notice the button with the two arrows (>>) after each filter; if you press on that, it gives you options on what you can do with the message if it meets your criteria (ie. You may want to forward it to another email address, automatically send back the information the person has requested, add the email address to an email list, and more).

What About turn your computer into a mailserversoftware?

You may have seen these software programs advertised. These pieces of software were designed to eliminate the undeliverable emails - so you don't get hundreds, or even thousands of emails returned to you as "bad addresses" when you do a mailout (as these large quantity of returned emails can clog up your server or computer).

This software bypasses your ISP's mail server and connects directly to the recipients mail server, checks to see if the email address is valid on that server, and then drops the email in their account. Therefore, there are no "bad emails" returned to you as it only delivers your message to the "valid" email addresses on your list.

At a cost of $200 - $350, in my opinion, they are a complete waste of money unless you plan to bulk email millions of email addresses. But like I said, untargeted or unsolicited bulk emailing is just plain stupidity... your flames will increase and your response ratio will drop dramatically. By using opt-in lists, customer databases, lead lists, and targeted potential client lists, you will save a lot of time, get a much better sales result, and have very few flames (therefore, no need to use this feature).

What is the point of all this?

Last year we still had people asking us to add this feature to Mailloop as they did not want to get the hundreds (or even thousands) of returned emails from their newsletter mailouts or any large email list they had. So we added the "turn your computer into a mailserver" feature to Mailloop.

This type of software sells for $200 - $350 and is really only good for large emailings. But don't worry, if you have large email lists, Mailloop already has this software built into it so there is no need to purchase this separately.

Automate Everything With A Built-In Scheduler

You can fully automate by using the Mailloop Scheduler.

The Mailloop Scheduler is a stand-alone program that's intended to run continuously. The one thing that the Mailloop Scheduler does is to run events at the event's designated time... and you can have an unlimited number of events.

For example, you could automatically do the following every Monday and Thursday at 4:00am:

  • Run an external program that backs up your computer data to tape,
  • Launch Mailloop and connect to your ISP,
  • Send personalized e-mail to everyone in a mail merge data file,
  • Run the Incoming Mailbox processor and add undeliverables to an email list and send out autoresponses,
  • Reboot the computer if there's ever 20 minutes of inactivity,
  • Disconnect from your ISP,
  • End Mailloop after disconnecting from your ISP,
  • Launch a batch file that runs other programs that do what you require.

Or you could use the Mailloop Scheduler to do something as simple as launching your word processor at 9:01am Monday through Friday. There are an infinite number of other possibilities.

Pretty impressive, isn't it? Now you can see why we use Mailloop everyday at our office! It makes our lives a whole lot easier.

Price

In summary, Mailloop will literally give you an unfair advantage over your competition.

No other software does what Mailloop offers in one program. Mailloop is by far the best... because it goes far beyond just emailing. The other bulk email programs out there (like Floodgate, Netcontact, Email Magnets, etc...) don't allow you to run newsletters, autoresponders, filter your email, automatically create databases from web forms, do full unlimited amounts of email merging (personalization), protect yourself against email bombs, and much more. These bulk email programs are designed to extract millions of addresses from the internet and mail out hundreds of thousands of emails per hour. Mailloop does not do this - it is business automation software that makes your online business more profitable.

As a side note, we have just recently released many new online videos to help guide you through using Mailloop, just as if we were over your shoulder showing you personally how to do it. We have designed these videos to walk you through, step-by-step, on Mailloop's most used features so you can take advantage of its power. These videos are free to all Mailloop owners - you will absolutely love them!

As you are probably aware, after all the tricks I show you in my course, Mailloop is an absolute necessity. For those who have studied the course, you know what I am talking about and the power of this program with the techniques and tricks I taught you... it will make you tens of thousands of dollars in sales!... not only from emailing, newsletters, but existing customer follow-up, etc. So get Mailloop and start making some money on the net.

It used to cost $699 just months ago... but we have negotiated a deal with the software developer to get the cost down to $379... a real bargain for all the bulk email, autoresponders, newsletters, web form processing, filtering, and email merging features it has. It is the only program on the market that will do all these things. Mailloop has been directly responsible for earning me over $70,000 in net profit so far this year, so the $379 I initially spent on it was a very good investment!
